Today is book day.We need to dress up as  one of our Favourite book  Characters.  I came dressed up as my favourite book character and I am Mel from Descendants because she has nice purple hair.And she is wearing a really nice dress.

Dear Miss Pownall,

I strongly believe that we should have Charlie in the classroom because we could take walks with Charlie outside. He could give me comfort and cuddle me. He is so adorable. 

Firstly, we could take walks outside. It would be good cause we could play with him. He could play hide and seek, fetch and manhunt. It is good for us to have fresh air.  

Secondly, He can comfort me when I am sad. He can sit next to me and I can give him cuddles. He would be happy to see me and he would like me to pat him.  

Finally, Charlie is adorable. Charlie is so cute because I saw a picture of him and I really wanted to cuddle with him. He is so cute and I read online that if I pat him 5 times my stress levels will  go down. The other Charlie in room 4  is so cute and I think she will be friends. with Miss Pownall’s Charlie. 

That's why  

I think we should have a pet in our class!!!

Why we should have pets!

W.A.L.T write a persuasive text.
Firstly, 

If  you are blind they can help you. By leading you somewhere and making sure you don’t bump into anyone. They keep you safe. Having a dog to help you when you’re blind is very useful,amazing!

Secondly, 

 All Animals can teach you how to be responsible. If you have a pet you need to feed it every day because otherwise they can get really sick and pass away.You have to play with it and clean it. If you go on a holiday you will have to ask someone to look after it.  

Finally,

Some dogs can defend you by doing this (wuff) to get them away. They will eat them up if someone tries to break in.

Having a guide dog helps blind people to be Independent It can teach you how to be responsible and they defend you. If you look after pets they will be a friend.
